MAK-camps

De MAKkampen zijn DE introductiekampen van de Faculteit Economie en Bedrijfswetenschappen! Wanneer je mee doet aan de MAKkampen beleef je naast een onvergetelijke zomer ook nog eens een onvergetelijke tijd met je nieuwe medestudenten. Het is de beste voorbereiding op je studie tijd en wordt daarom dan ook sterk aangeraden door de Universiteit van Tilburg!
Introduction guide voor International Business Administration en Economics.
Afhankelijk van je studiekeuze, kun je meedoen aan één van de introductiekampen:
- MAKkamp 1: 7 tot en met 9 augustus 2010 (voertaal Nederlands)

Door deelname aan de introductiekampen word je ingedeeld in een groep van 15 studenten die allemaal met hetzelfde studieprogramma gaan beginnen. De groep zal begeleid worden door twee mentoren, twee ouderejaars studenten. Deze mentoren zullen de groep begeleiden tijdens de introductie en de eerste twee studieblokken door middel van groep meetings. Naast deze meetings volg je colleges samen met je mentorgroep. Op de universiteit heb je veel discipline nodig om te studeren. Maar maak je niet druk, je staat er niet alleen voor! Samen met je mentorgroep kun je altijd samen gaan studeren maar natuurlijk ook heel veel lol samen hebben.
Registratie
De registratie voor de MAKkampen zal starten in april 2010. De exacte datum zal in een later stadium gecommuniceerd worden op deze website. Zodra de datum is gecommuniceerd, kun je je inschrijven voor het MAKkamp via www.inschrijven-tilburg.nl. Als je bent ingeschreven bij de IB groep voor een bachelor programma aan de Universiteit van Tilburg, zul je de Introduction Guide 2010 ontvangen. Om in te loggen heb je een wachtwoord nodig die je kunt vinden in the Introduction Guide 2010. Let op: Je kunt je dus pas inschrijven wanneer je deze hebt ontvangen. In deze Introduction Guide 2010 kun je alle verdere informatie vinden over de registratie en over de MAKkampen.
Betalingen
Betalingen worden bij voorkeur gedaan door het invullen van een machtiging op de registratie site. Klik hier voor meer informatie over alternatieve betaalmethodes voor Nederlandse studenten (wanneer je kiest voor een alternatieve betaalmethode wordt extra 5,- Euro zal in rekening worden gebracht). Als je niet meer in staat bent om bij het MAKkamp aanwezig te zijn, terwijl je je al online geregistreerd hebt, neem dan zo snel mogelijk contact op (per e-mail of telefoon) voor 1 augustus 2010 om je inschrijving te annuleren. Wanneer je annuleert na deze datum, kan de deelnemersbijdrage niet meer teruggestort worden omdat er dan al kosten gemaakt zijn. Op 1 juni, 29 juni, 13 juli of 27 juli zal de deelnemersbijdrage van het MAKkamp worden afgeschreven van het door jou opgegeven bankrekeningnummer of girorekeningnummer. De kosten voor het MAKkamp bedragen € 54,-

The MAK-camps are THE introduction camps of Tilburg School of Economics and Management. By participating in the MAK-camps you will be guaranteed of an unforgettable summer and fun time with your new fellow students. It offers you the best possible preparation for your study period and because of that is strongly recommended by Tilburg University!
By participating in the introduction camp, you will be assigned to a group of about 15 students that will all start with the same bachelor programme. This group will be accompanied by two mentors: two older students. These mentors will join you during the introduction, and subsequently they will organize meetings in the first two units of your studies. Besides, you will go to lectures together with your mentor group. At university you need a lot of discipline to study! But don't worry, you won't be studying all alone. With your mentorgroup you can discuss a lot of study-related issues and you can also have a lot of fun, of course!
Registration
The registration for the MAK-camps will start in April. From then on, you can register yourself via http://www.registration-tilburg.nl As soon as you enroll in one of the economics programmes of Tilburg University at the IB group in Groningen, you will receive the Introduction Guide 2010. In this Introduction Guide 2010 you will find a password which you need to register yourself for the MAK-camp. Further information about the registration and the MAK-camps can be found in this booklet as well.
International Students
For international students, the Introduction Guide of 2010 will be available online from May 2010 on. Here you can find all information you will need.
Payment
Payment is preferably done by filling in the authorization form on the registration site.

If you are not able to join the MAK-camp due to circumstances and you have already registered online, please cancel your registration (by e-mail or phone call) before the 1st of August 2010. If you cancel your registration after this date, the participation fee cannot be refunded, because costs are already made at that time. On June 1, June 29, July 13 or July 27 the participation fee will be written off from the bank account that you filled out on the registration site. The Participation fee is € 54,-
